From humble beginnings as a child star, (he was the boy with the racer in
the 1980's Yellow Pages advert featuring Kevin Webster's dad off Corrie -
'I were right about that saddle though'), Craig discovered music...
After serving his time in a number of folk groups and barber
shop quartets during his teen years, Craig's star only really hit the ascendancy when he
locked horns with Catch 22's esteemed banjo player back in the day
and the pair gave birth to the now sorely unmissed Redline, one of Kendal's
finest. Ah, happy days.
Redline became Breakpoint became Blitz before finally disbanding in 2000
in front of a capacity crowd at the legendary IBIS Club in Kendal. Not
content with a life of less hassle and earning considerably more as a DJ,
Craig rang Stef in 2002 and demanded they have another shot at spoiling
their friendship.
Thus Catch 22 was born, and five years later remains one of the North
West's premier function bands - no bingo hall too small, no working men's
club too foisty.
Craig is a hot air balloon pilot by trade, and also Catch 22's resident DJ
by night; he is open to all manner of weird & wonderful requests in this capacity, possibly even musical ones.
