Howard’s musical capabilities were always on display from a young age (he played Jimny Cricket in the Disney version), and he once appeared on Matthew Kelly’s "You Bet" in an attempt to play 42 bamboo sitars in a minute.... he didn’t do well.  He was far more popular however at the numerous personal appearances he has since made at Michael Barrymore's house.

In his teenage years, he produced many a high pitched screech as front man for the woeful Wide Lapel, regularly wooing bar staff at watering holes such as The Peele, The Duke, and other Barrovian establishments of ‘dry roasted in a bowl’ status.

Upon joining the mighty Catchmeisters, it became apparent to Howard that this was one of the finest musical onslaughts that Kendal has offered in recent times, boasting a nippy 1.3 diesel Renault Master, complete with 4 fully functional heaters (if you jiggle the wires a bit, and at the expense of the headlights), a seemingly never ending crate of warm Fostii, and the indispensable Rat Nav®.

"I say - do'wroo know any R&B?"

"Appreciate ya doin' the La's - me bruddeh used to cut his lawn"
